About the garden
Find the Summit Neighborhood Community Garden at the corner of Summit Ave. and 9th St. in Kerry Kohring Park – a Providence City Park.
We are a place for people who love to garden! There are 28 plots. Get on the waiting list for a plot: The fee is $40 per year (please ask – fee can be reduced for need).
The gardeners work together to maintain the garden, with lots of help from our garden manager. There is also a Steering Committee that meets to set policies and procedures to keep the garden running.
Everyone is welcome to attend meetings and to come by and see what’s growing!
The Community Garden is a sub-committee of the Summit Neighborhood Association.
