About the garden
Find the Summit Neighborhood Community Garden at the corner of Summit Ave. and 9th St. in Kerry Kohring Park – in a Providence City Park.
We are a place for people who love to garden! There are 28 plots. Get on the waiting list for a plot: The fee is $30 per year (please ask – fee can be reduced for need).
The gardeners work together to maintain the garden, with lots of help from our garden manager. There is also a Steering Committee that meets to set policies and procedures for running the garden.
Everyone is welcome to attend meetings and to come by and see what’s growing!
